Palais de Tokyo x Ligne Roset - The Tapestry Project

Thomas Defert conceived an immersive art installation in partnership with Hands and Groupe Roset at the Palais de Tokyo, the largest contemporary art center in Europe. As Creative Director and artist behind the project, Thomas designed the three monumental, allegorical tapestries : “Time,” “Nature,” and “The Hand”, measuring 12 m, 9 m, and 8 m in length, respectively.

Produced at the historic Briord manufactory in the Ain region, these works of art powerfully and sensitively embody Groupe Roset’s core values of creativity, harmony, and craftsmanship.

Each of these tapestries was accompanied by a text written by Thomas Defert especially for the occasion.
